Description
Behind Bendorf hides the name of a microbrewery. A microbrewery, or an urban craft beer factory, located in the Neudorf district, in the heart of Strasbourg! Founded at the beginning of 2013 by Benjamin Pastwa, the Bendorf brewery has continued to grow and this is how four people today ensure the proper functioning of the young company: Soizic, Félix, Matthieu and Benjamin . The goal of a brewery is of course to create, brew and then offer high quality beers with strong aromatic power for tasting. Our beers are generously hopped. At Bendorf, we love hops and we love working with it in all its forms.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a white head. Slightly sweet malts and fruit in the nose. Medium body, sweet malts and then....nothing. Decently drinkable but totally harmless. 260713

Bottle 33 cl. Pours nutty brown with a slight haze and a dense and creamy, beige head. Nutty, caramellish nose - honey not so much. Medium body, sweet, burned caramel, agai nuts and now the honey shows. Never overly sweet or cloying - just honeyish in a pleasant sense. Actually has some late bitterness. Not bad. 260713

Bottle, Merci jaghana! Cloudy, deep golden colour with a creamy white head leaving lacework. Intensively aromatic Hop aroma, fruity and floral. Medium-bodied, good malty base with a touch of grains, lovely aromatic hops with hints of grass, hay, flowers, citrus fruit... Lingering hoppy finish. Good stuff!

Purchased at Village de la Biere in Strasbourg, France; enjoyed at my hotel in Eppingen, DE before a busy work week. Appearance is a cola-like brown with a rich off white head that rims around the glass. Aroma of grapes, wine yeast, a bit of dark chocolate malt, smell is slightly faint. Taste goes down nice and smooth, full bodied, rich, tastes pretty good. For the 2nd French beer I’ve had I’m pretty happy with this.
