Tap at the brewpub. Hazy golden body with a huge white head. Foamed like a MF. Citric-herbal hoppy aroma. Light, lean well carbed body, dominated by citric, slightly herbal hoppiness, with a light brown sugar touch in the finish taste-wise. Ah, I love this 8°/9° trend that's happening all over the place this summer - most of those beers being remarkably good, sometimes far more so than their other takes on modern beers. This one isn't like that - just slightly going too much towards one-dimensionality, but it's well made and doing its job very much fine.

Tap at the brewpub. Hah, Rotin beat me to the rate since the app didn't work on Friday night. :D Misty golden body with a lasting white head. Herbal aroma, lavender and some sharp lemony touches. Dry taste, quite lean, some lavender, some bready touches. All in all, quite okay beer really, nothing too special, but okay.

Tap at the brewery. Hazy golden body, white head. Fresh hoppy aroma, mixing some random fruitiness with herbal and lightly bready notes. Berries, elder, bread, all mixing nicely really, slightly flowery too, maybe soapy. Medium bitterness. Okay IPA, but the APA was more on point this time.

I was back and so was the APA this time. Clear red-amber body with an off white head. Clean aroma mixing caramelly maltiness and berry notes. Nice, ever so slightly earthy caramel/candy lean maltiness supporting more orange/red berries hoppiness, smooth and ending dry enough. Actually, in this shape, form and freshness, an excellent classic APA and a huge surprise!
