Creamy white head stayed on a translucent, heavily carbonated, copper body. Malt & yeast aroma. Medium bodied, finely carbonated, sticky on the palate. Very sweet, malt flavours, floral, mild hops, over ripe fruit & spicy, Typical East European style of over strong , sweet, dark lager.

Tried this one after quite liking normal Warka. Bottle. Gold with a white head. Aroma of toast, raisins, apples, burnt toffee. Light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation. The taste is not so great - dried fruit, stewed apples, a burned toffee note that’s presumably the roasted malt, a touch of cqrdboard. But there is some bitterness at the finish and it’s clean enough. Not my sort of thing but by no means poor for its class.

Bottle @ 5.5% ABV. Prior: Polish macro lager is often pretty good. Gold with a white head. Aroma: crackers and somewhat toasty bread , mildly spicy and floral hops. Light bodied, softish texture, medium carbonation. A little crust amongst the bread. Very clean. Modest bitterness with light spices and a hint of lemon. Is it a little thin for 5.5%? Pretty decent drop I’d have again.
