Bottle pours out pale straw color topped with a fizzy head. nose is lemon citrus sweetness with a soda note. Taste is more of the lemon sprite sweetness.

Pours light yellow, clear and watery, bit of foam. Aroma is mainly wet cardboard, some biscuity malts and artificial sweeteners. Usual euro-lager in that sense. Taste has a bit of sweetish malt, something bitter, not sure if they are really malts. Simple lager, meant for just drinking and for the modest amount of alcohol that it packs. Having this at the airport, well, can’t really complain.

500 ml bottle into lager glass, best before 4/29/2016. Pours crystal clear golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Okay aromas with balanced pale malt and earthy hop notes; with decent strength. A bit too yeasty in the aromas. Taste cracker, corn, white bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, fairly grainy/bready, and lightly crisp/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is good. Fairly clean on lager flavors with some slight yeast ester notes present. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a solid pale lager style. All around well balanced and robust pale malt and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A fairly enjoyable offering.

Bouteille. Nez de malt pâle et léger de malt du genre caramel doux (notes de rôti), léger de maïs sucré et d’alcool doux ainsi que des notes de houblon floral et de miel. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-fort avec une texture très légèrement veloutée. Goût légèrement croustillant de malt pâle avec de très légères notes de légumes bouillis lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un goût moyennement sucré de malt doux (pain et caramel doux avec des notes de rôti) et de maïs sucré avec des notes de miel et herbeuses puis une fin légèrement amère d’alcool doux et de houblon floral ainsi que de très légères notes métalliques. Arrière-goût moyen, légèrement amer d’alcool aux notes métalliques avec des notes de rôti et herbeuses. [notes 2006]

Bottle from Super Lincs, Lincoln. Golden colour with a very thin and quickly evaporating white head. Orn and syrupy aroma and taste. Not as sweet as some.
