Description

50 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ the Groshland supermarket, Utrecht. Clear light amber with an off-white head. Maltish alcoholic aroma and taste. slighty warming alcohol feeling. in fact, it smells and tastes like a higher ABV supermarkt lager. No hops, no depth, just sweetness and alcohol.

50cl can from Cunningham - thanks. Pours clear golden with a small, white head. Moderate grainy aroma with notes of cooked vegetables and hints of alcohol. Sweet and slightly unpleasant. The usual industrial pale lager, not especially tasty or refreshing, but somewhat drinkable under the right circumstances. Not the best one...

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy to macropore, rapidly diminishing, white head. Grainy, strawy aroma, minimally sweet-ish cereals. Taste is monotonous, minimally sweet pale malty, grainy, hints of slightly sweetened cereals; light body, minimally watery, one-dimensional and boring.

Can from Tesco, Longford [190214]
Pale yellow, clear, big frothy white head
Aroma of fairly sweet pale lager malts, touch of spicy pils hop
Taste of quite sweet pale lager malts, slight sweet pale honey, dab of bitter pils hop, very slight fruitness in there
Palate - Medium carb, light body, fairly oily texture. Finish as main flavour with a light bitter bit metallic tail
Overall - Reasonably drinkable for a macro lager. Not too bad
