Description

Hazy yellow colour. Smells like lemon limonade. Tastes like that as well. Refreshing. Not bad but......

500ml can. Pours a lively dark orange with a medium head. Aroma is faint, sweet corn with a touch of rubber. Taste is quite sweet, caramel, touches of rubber and corn. Good in the mouth. If I was a tramp, I’d pick this over Tennents super any day.

Ok this starts of smellin bad. Then the badness picks up with a serious kick in the junk in terms of stank taste. That stank taste involves some boozy malt. He’ll, i don’t know, more trash i tasted from some douches bottle at a party.

500ml can. Pours very hazy lemon with no head. Like gone off milk. Aroma islemon washing up liquid with some spicy corn. Taste is poor lemonade to start with some corn on the finish. Refreshing at least.

50cl bottle (6,5%) enjoyed at the train between Malbork and Gdansk. Quite nice for a Polish strong beer. Sweet and malty, but fairly well balanced with some bitterness. (Backlog: tasted 2010-04-02)

Amber colour. Not much aroma but this has a strong caramel taste, sweet and spicy.

Can at home in London. Pours clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Nose holds sugary malts, some jammy fruits. Big sweet flavor, some sugary bread, lightly toasted sugar, a bit of honey, cereal. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish with lots of sugary, bready malts, a bit of honey and caramel. Yeah, this is what I expect from a strong lager, by god! I don’t want a refined lager, I want sugar, booze, and bread. Right on.
