Description

500 ml can, shared by my beerpal Olav, as Warka Uznany Smak. ABV is 5.7%. Golden colour, big to moderate white head. Very moderate aroma of flowery hops, hints of honey. Standard pilsener flavour, moderate hops, dry finish. Decent enough, but nothing special.

Can sample at a tasting. Thanks zvikar. Clear deep golden with a white head. Aroma of alcohol and caramel. Very sweet flavor, caramelly, with some candies, grainy notes, some alcohol and faint hints of hops in the finish.

Golden coloured body with a touch of white head on top. Aroma of strong alcohol, malt, metal and perhaps a bit of citrus. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive metallic flavours with a bunch of malt, a tiny bit of hops and some very very mild sweetness (fruit) flavours. Aftertaste is decent - not too strong, but a lot of alcohol is noticeable. Overall, a decent beer, considering the options, but not so great in the overall scheme of all beer. I sampled this from a 50 cL can purchased at a small convenience store in London, England on 13-December-2008.

Bottle: Poured a deep golden color lager with a medium bubbly head with minimal retention and light lacing. Aroma of adjunct is kind of gross with loads of residual sugar. Taste is also dominated by adjunct and sugar which does not make for an interesting drink. Body is quite full with an oily feel and medium carbonation. Light notes of fusel alcohol are perceptible. I don’t see myself drinking this again in the near future.

Draft. A light golden beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma has notes brewing cereal, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of rain, straw, and brewing cereal, leading to a bitter finish.
