500ml bottle. Old gold, thin white head. Got some vinous notes, some toffee, no great hop or malt. It’s ok, but just a tad bland. Some whiskyish malt.

500ml bottle. Gold, thin white head. Refreshing lager, workmanlike, but a good Pelne, got good hop on end, crisp with good lemon flaovurs. 2.9/5 re-rate bottle from Poland from a friend. Some pale malt on aroma, a little syrupy, some lemon. Actually 2.9 is exactly right.

Bottle from the Dodgi Deli, Cowley Road, Oxford, 16-06-07.Poured deep warm golden colour, with white frothy head. Honey and corn on the nose, taste was quite malty, strength quite evident but reasonably smooth and not so harsh.

Frischer, leicht malziger Antrunk, der durch sanften Hopfen "entschärft" wird. Etwas herber und malziger ist es im Mittelteil, immernoch aber sehr mild, fast langweilig. Leicht herber Nachgeschmack. Test vom 11.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,8,7,6,7,7

Brown bottle, 500 ml, best before 19.10.2007, purchased on March 22 2007, savoured on April 10 2007; eye: golden with a orange hue, beige head that disappears completely to leave a ring around the glass, clear, slight effervescence, no lacing; nose: caramelized malt, corn, sugar; mouth: quite carbonated, caramelized malt, lightly metallic, light hops, finale in caramelized malt, grainy texture, quite sweet, slightly bitter, medium body; overall: ok FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 500 ml, meilleure avant 19.10.2007, achetée le 22 mars 2007, savourée le 10 avril 2007; oeil : dorée avec une teinte orangée, petite mousse beige qui disparaît presque complètement pour laisser un petit anneau autour du verre, claire, très légère effervescence, pas de dentelle; nez : malt caramélisé, maïs, sucre; bouche : très carbonatée, malt caramélisé, légèrement métallique, léger houblon, finale en malt caramélisé, texture granuleuse, assez sucrée, très légèrement amère, corps moyen; en résumé : ok

A nice golden amber alger with a quickly dissipating white head. A rather sweet maply aroma, with a bizarre potted meat smell, as noted by probstk. In mouth, sickly sweet concoction, light metallic notes, short bodied (thankfully). Another Euroswill from LCBO.

Golden color, mostly vanishing white head. Fruity apple-like aroma. Grassy, grainy flavor but same time quite nicely malty. A bit fruity too. This wobbles between a normal malt liquer and a good European strong lager.
