Bottle from Pivotéka More Piva. Czech brewery no.78 Good recovery beer after yesterday's beer session. It was challenging. Solid malty backbone topped with medium bitterness. Good, serves the purpose.

Tap at RJ. Somewhat sourish, astringent. A bit soapy. The overall perceived bitterness is pretty high, unbalanced - thin body, with almost no supportive maltiness. High carbonation. Hops character grassy, vegetal. Maybe it is just overhopped. Does not drink too bad though. Overall average IMO.

On tap at Barrique Ko?ice. Hazy orange color with high stable white head. Aroma: grapefruit, pine, papaya, peach. Taste: grapefruit, caramel, resins, yeast. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Moderate bitterness. Refreshing and quite drinkable.

In der Karwoche 2017 besuchte ich mein Lieblingsbierlokal beim Busbahnhof Florenc in Prag. Eines der 6 frisch gezapften Biere war das "Carni Vale" der Brünner Brauerei Hausknecht. Gebraut mit 5 Arten Malz (Pilsner, Münchner, Karamell, Prager, und Weizen-Malz) und 4 Arten Saazer Hopfen (Premiant, Vital, Sládek und ŽPČ) und das zahlt sich aus. Das Bier ist eher bitter und liefert ein Feuerwerk an Aromen, die ganz gut zusammenpassen. Auch wenn eigentlich zu der Zeit schon das Osterbier auf der Speisekarte stehen sollte, schmeckt mir das Faschingsbier ausgezeichnet.
