Tap at Volvox Globator. Lightly hazy brown with amber shades, off-white, thick head. Caramel, alcohol and some light dried stone fruit in the aroma, mild raisins. Smooth, light taste, marzipan, caramel, mild alcohol, but without much warmth. Interesting profile, somewhat Belgian, bitterish in the finish, the sprcialty malts giving it light nuttiness, not bad really!

Smell of chocolate, whisky. Dark brown colour, short beige head. Aroma of whisky, oak, sour berries, some funky chocolate-y note. Harsh malt in finish. Sour, some sweet elements also. Wild carbon. Odd.

Thin bod, med carbo. Med-high bitter, med-light candyish sweet. Light grassy astringenty element too. Malt mostly in background, fully hoppy, mix of med-high citrusy, med piney and grassy, zesty. Quite good, intense. Nice.

Weirdly sourish, like a riesling white wine. This is also a prominent flavour component, quite white winey, but in a more sourish and almost Slovak way compared to usual Zealand stuff. I feel like it's wrong, but it somehow works, so good I guess?
