Barva zlatava, zakalena. Pena nizka a hned pryc. Vune slad, kvasnice, psenice? Telo malo plne az vodove. Chut slad, dojezd horky suchy, trocha divnoocas, travovy, sviravy, horkost ulpiva, vyssi stredni. Takovy vodovy divno ale. Ale da se, hlavne kdyz je dost chladny.

Même si stout manque de présence en bouche et de caractère il n'en reste pas moins plaisant. De là à dire qu'il s'agit d'un Best Extra Stout, il y a une frontière que je ne saurais franchir. Le visuel est sur un brun foncé quasi noir avec une mousse brune peu présente. Le nez n'est pas des plus emballants, manquant d'intensité et de vivacité. On y trouve une alliance de chocolat, pain noir et noisette avec une touche de café. A l'attaque c'est d'abord l'amertume fraîche qui arrive en bouche. Les arômes torréfiés arrivent dans un deuxième temps avec heureusement un café un peu plus présent qui donne un peu de caractère. La deuxième et l'arrière bouche montent quelque peu sur les arômes torréfiés. L'ensemble manque de gourmandise tout de même. La corpulence est moyenne. Le final est relativement long mais davantage sur l'amertume. Honnête sans être Best.

Can from Yamaya. Medium gold, hazy, with floaters. High head. Citrus hops, creamy malt, orange, grapefruit, lemon. Seems like some wheat? Nice creamy malt flavor, estery fruits, citrus. A bit more body than the Pacific, though the hops were a bit more interesting in that one. Overall, I like this better, more malt, meatier.

Surprised to see these cans at Yamaya. Cheap too. Pours a slightly hazy bright gold with a tall head. Quite effervescent. Bright citrus hops in the nose, some white grapes, light tropical notes. Crisp malt. Light malt character, crisp, again nice Nelson hops it seems, white grape, grapefruit, estery yeast character is evident. I think the can fermentation method helps keep it quite fresh tasting. Not bad drinking at all, though somewhat lacking in excitement.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

En pinta, color dorado oscuro, turbio, espuma blanca de baja retención. Aroma sutil pero agradable, ligeramente floral, con notas de cereal y un punto afrutado. En boca es de cuerpo ligero a medio, refrescante, notas de lúpulo floral, algo cítrica y afrutada. Personalmente la considero una cerveza rica, sencilla y fácil de beber, se disfruta muy bien.

330ml bottle from Tin Corner, Ipoh, Malaysia. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is yeast and sweaty socks. Not entirely pleasant. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, watery, crisp, malt, yeasty, herbal, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. The lengths I go to for a tick!

375ml into glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. Clear amber beer with light carbonation. Thin white head. Nose is a bit grassy with a very faint hint of aniseed and fruit. Lightly bitter with a soft zingy finish. As 'Australian Lagers' go, it's not too bad.

Bottle from Fountainhall Wines. It pours lightly hazy golden - blonde with medium fluffy white head. The aroma is waxy citrus peel, orchard fruits, pear drops, apricot, persimmon, floury bready, grain and oatly biscuits. The taste is firm, dry, bitter - sweet, grain, rich tea, biscuit, apricot, persimmon, grain, pear drops, melon, touch of spice, earthiness and backed goods with a drying finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. A big step up from the pale ale at least. Nice fruity character and hearty malt base.
