Can at BBT feb 2025. Bought at the brewery. Medium body, med-light carbonation. Med-high sweetness, med-light bitterness. Moderate cherry flavour, which is not great, not terrible. But the beer lacks some fine finessed character beneath that. There is light phenolic spicy character, but it fail to intertwine with the malt, which is mostly caramelly and the cherry. Feels disconnected and a bout rough and too sweet, unbalanced. Could use more carbonation too. Not bad, not great either though.

Tap at H2. In my opinion this is not a Black IPA - see updated commercial description, not a mention of hops, nor is hops prominent in sensorics. I changed the style accordingly. Dark brown, borderline stoutish colour, beige head, moderate retention. Medium body, medium carbonation. Medium bitterness, med-light sweetness. Pretty well balanced, with coffee, chocolate, caramel - all present, neither of them dominating, working well together. Easy drinking. Quite good.

24.1.2025. Tap at H1. Medium body, medium carbonation. Medium bitterness, low sweetness, well attenuated. Solid bready malty base, moderate saazy grassy hops character. Well balanced, easy drinking, clean, round. Very good. 8,1.

12.2.2026. Can at home. A pretty classic Czech style pilsner. Med body, bready malt. Med Saaz hops. A bit fuller than a classic 12, but still easy drinking. Good. 7,4.
