25/X/25 - 50cl bottle from my Schwarzwald vacation, shared @ kelderschatten tasting by Gentse Biervereniging (Baracuna), BB: 11/IV/26 03 05:02 (2025-1080)
Clear light orange beer, small creamy dense off-white to yellowish head, unstable, falls down quickly, a bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, sweet impression, red fruits, strawberry jam, malty, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, very malty, grains, slightly sweet, cow fodder. Aftertaste: some caramel, malty, grains, gentle bitterness.

16/10/2025. Bottle at AlBar Taproom, Tirana. Poured clear from the bottle but settled in the glass hazy. Aroma is chalky, malty, wheaty, citrus, banana, herb, touch worty. Medium sweet, mild bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Fair affair.

A typical German product, a classical of classical, it is a typical landbier, a bit metalic, a bit watery, malty, some bavarian hop, 25.02 18, drinking it at Domodossola.

50cl bottle from Cantina della Birra, Riccione, Italy. Pours dark blonde, partially clear, with rough, mixed foam. Aroma is cereal, a little floral. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is medium sweet, too unidimensional. Final is average. Overall, a disappointment.

In my point of view, it is a delicious kellerbier, it sounds more an amber, malty, touch of oak, caramel, well balanced, 26.04.17, drinking it in one bar, Domodossola, in family.

50cl flip-top bottle from SuperAlko, Tallinn. Pours dark mahogany coloured with a tanned head. Malty and caramelly with roasty notes and hints of chocolate. Medium sweet with low to medium flavour intensity. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from The Beer Shop in Hitchin. Probably over chilled, but a good pour and everything you would expect from a Fest beer. Malt, sweet taste and a rich mouthfeel with a kick of alcohol. As I have been gardening all day this really hits the spot.
