Draft at the brewery. Dark, but clear, brown with small skin of head. Sweet, nutty aroma, taste starts with sweetness then gets a roasty bitter bite towards the back. Pretty smooth, with some residual lingering bitterness.

Level 42 bottleshare. Santa is flying past and below! Thanks to Colin for the can. Clear deep amber beer, thin pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent carbonation. The dark malts are quite smooth and a little tangy. Mild dark fruits. Spicy pine hops. Slightly dry finish, spicy linger. Perfectly decent CDA.

Can split at L42 Xmas murder scene, from a trade with Stevoj, 19/12/16. Rich manogany brown with a decent tan cap. Nose is cocoa powder, spice, charr, light pine needle. Taste comprises brown bread, light chocolate sprinkle, pine dusting, liquorice, toffee, biscuit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate CDA.

Can shared in London - thanks to Cloin. Pours brown with a creamy tan head. The nose has toasty brown bread. Medium sweet flavour with more brown bread, ripe orange, a little piney element. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more brown bread, light cocoa, pine and orange. Good.

Bottle shared on Level 42 19/12/2016. Many thanks to Colin for this one. A nut brown red coloured pour with a thin off white head. Aroma is jammy fruits, berry, light toast, earthy, musty, . Flavour is composed of semi sweet, toasted malts, jammy fruits, musty air malt. Hint of choc in the finish. Palate is dry gassy, moderate carbonation. Good

On tap at slanted rock. Pours out pale golden topped with a white head. Nose is light grain some corn notes and a light spice. Taste is more of the nice grain light spice.

Draft at Growler Guys. Dark brown color with a thick layer of tan head. Sweet inviting aroma of chocolate and vanilla, a little bit of mocha. Tastes rich with chocolate and mocha, light vanilla and roasted malt. Very nice.

On tap at River room Boise. Pours out a hazy gold topped with a white head. Nose is banana spice clove and nice malt. Taste is more of the banana bread spice.
