Pours lightly hazy medium golden/yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, lime, ginger, orange, pear, apple, white grape, citrus zest, peppercorn, clove, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/earthy/spicy yeast, lemon, ginger, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, lime, ginger, orange, pear, apple, white grape, citrus zest, peppercorn, clove, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery spiciness and lightly tart/tangy yeast on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, lime, ginger, orange, pear, apple, white grape, citrus zest, peppercorn, clove, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy/spicy yeast, lemon, ginger, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from yeast/ginger spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly crisp, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.3%. Overall this is an awesome fruited/spiced table saison. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy/spicy yeast, lemon, ginger, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the mellow spicy/drying finish. Perfectly balanced between yeast and lemon/ginger spice flavors; with a great malt backbone. Very flavorful and never watery feeling for the session ABV. A really enjoyable offering.
