Tulip at the brewery - 2015 stated aged in a Kentucky Whiskey barrel - there was another version on tap from a Colorado Whiskey barrel - not sure if these are different entry worthy - anyway, deep black with a soapy tan lace - nose of toasted coconut, vanilla, chocolate - flavor is fairly sweet and heavy on the barrel - a lot of toasty oak and whiskey - not necessarily a bad thing if you like whiskey, as I do - fairly smooth despite this, but kind of sticky/sugary - still pretty tasty.

Tap at Falling Rock. Pine resiin and tropical fruit aroma, specifically grapefruit, some wet forest. Mostlu dry flavor. Wet hops and more pine and citrus. Smooth palate. Carbonation is a little low. Finishes a little sweet with drying hops. Well made.

Pint at the brewery - marketed as a session IPA with 4.9 abv - clear gold with a frothy head - well-executed for a session IPA - crisp, dry, clean malt character - creamy texture - mosaic flavor is most prominent (herbs, mint), but also earthy simcoe - punchy citric finish, with an assertive but balanced bitterness - I dig it.

On tap @ Comrade with jcnielsen. Clear golden orange appearance with a white head. The aroma is dank, some weed, pine, resin, and mild tropical fruit. Medium light body. Sesame seeds, dank bud, crackers, and mild pine in the flavor. Bitterness is higher than I would prefer but this is pretty solid.

Tap at the brewery - clear dark amber - a simple beer, this - watery texture and bland flavor - some dark bread and peppery hops - strong finishing bitterness - thin finish - nothing flawed, but very bland and lifeless.
