Tap at the brewery - kind of an oily texture to this one - like most of their IPAs, the malt profile is clean and lean so the hops are showcased well, but I guess I do not care for the hops - tastes like papaya covered in soil - some pineapple and melon are nice, but that dirt/soil quality persists.

Tap at the brewery - clear bright gold - aroma and flavor is heavy on garlicky hop notes - thankfully these subside in the flavor and quickly make way for a more citric and tropical flavor profile - clean, medium sweet malt brings some peach and mango to the mix - starts meh but finishes strong.

Tap at the brewery - dark brownish ruby - has a nice dey roast and an earthy, almost peaty malt character to it - a slight acidity arrives late to cut a late developing sweetness - finish is lightly fruity and moderately toasty - pretty good.

On tap @ the Source. Cloudy yellow appearance with a white head. Lemon, pear, apple, white grape, highly floral nose. Medium light body. A little fruity. Quite floral. Moderate bitterness. Pretty clean. Fine.

Draft. A- Coffee, milk, cocoa, roasty, malty, mocha. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Coffee, milky, cocoa, roasty, malty, slightly bitter, slightly sweet, mocha. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, coffee finish. O- I’ve heard Comrade was one of the better newer breweries in the Denver area. I wanted to go by the taproom but didn’t get a chance so jumped on it when I saw this on tap at a restaurant. Glad I did. What a damn good beer it is. Lots of coffee, mocha, and a milky taste. The aroma is the same. It’s very balanced and makes me even want this to be a breakfast beer from now on. Excellent all around.

Tap at the brewery - black with a moderate tan lace - the nose is quite nice, with anise, plum, tamarind, light smoke, chocolate - fairly soft and silky texture - very sweet flavor that, despite the obviously generous hopping, is never really balanced - some chocolate, coffee, raisin - very sweet finish, with a lot of alcohol heat - flavor needs work.

Tap at the brewery - clear gold - dank aroma - not much going on but the hops, which I would be fine with were it not for the fact that they kind of smelllike straight up hash oil with a dash of gasoline - oily texture, slick in the mouth - I do not like this hop bill at all - tastes strongly of garlic and lightly of gasoline - hot, alcoholic finish - pass.

Tap at the brewery - dark amber brown - soapy lace - medium.sweet nose of toasty, lightly roasty malt and a touch of spicy rye - strong woody cascade presence - body is a little thin, the texture a little watery, especially in fhe finish - flavor is a decent mix of medium.sweet, semi roasty dark malts and green cascadd hoppiness - sadly, some of the other hops in the mix add some garlic and diesel character underneath - needs some work, but plentt.of potential.

Tap at the.brewery - pretty much a red ipa here - should probably be listed as an american strong or something - straightforward, a little simple, but assertively hopped to add flavor and pretty potent bitterness - fairly clean, but does get a little husky on the tail end - medium sweet, but not sticky - resinous finish that gets a little astrigent - decent.

Clear copper - soapy lace - a clean, simple, well-executed smoked lager - nose has hearty smoke and lean malt sweetness - the flavor is much the same - clean, sweet, and decently smoky without beinv overly so - some nice toasty earthiness from the woodsmoke - maybe slightly too sweet, but otherwise a good attempt - definitely pint-worthy - in fact, I’m getting one now.
