36 years of freedom. They brew a special "liberation" beer every year, because fuck the Soviets. This barleywine has honey, heather, and chamomile -- naturally a very different experience! It's also lighter, just "8,88%", but very nice. 🇱🇹

Very pleasant, summery Gruit. Orange peel plus meadow weeds. Grassy, terrific terroir. Also a great label, if the opposite of the last. Vilnius is a great place to drink but I'm so effing tired, mentally, that's why I'm drinking at the hotel. Į sveikatą!

I was looking for an IPA... I didn't realize it was black but it is very satisfying. Bitter and very roasty. Since they love herbs, this would be an interesting chance to add a complementary herb or two. Great label.

Absinthium Gruit. Mugwort is one thing I've only ever had in Gruits. Not surprising 😆 quite good, tastes like a somewhat normal malty amber-colored beer except with that herbal funkiness.
