Bottled at RBESG 2008. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, while the flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt and medium notes of soy sauce and wood, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Cask handpull, Marble Arch, Manchester, RBESG 09. Gold, lasting beige head. Lovely grapefruity aroma. Creamy and full in mouth, some malt. Hoppy finish. Excellent. Had a few pints of this including with dinner, just because it was so drinkable.

Bottle conditioned @ the Marble Arch Manchester. Pale amber color. Ginger and grapes in the aroma. Well balanced brew with malt, apple grapes, lemon and subdued ginger in the flavor. Much better as the cask version!

Bottle conditioned @ Marble Arch Manchester. Organic Tawny # 3, 5,7 ABV. Pale amber color. Citrus and red berries in the aroma. Citrus flavor with hints of earthy hops and caramel. Earthy, but also a citric hopbitter finish. Nice one!

Cask @ Marble Arch Manchester. the ginger is abundant in both aroma and flavor. Malty sweetish, with some chloride notes. Must be the Manchester water. Ginger dominating the aftertaste, and in fact all other flavors. Not my kind of beer.

Cask @ the Marble Arch Manchester. Deep golden color. Grapefruit and oily hops in the aroma. Initial malty sweetness, attacked and conquered by an intense oily hopbitter flavor with grapefruit. With or without sparkler a real treat.
