Draft. Brown body with red highlights. Fizzy tan head, lasting. Light aroma of roast and basement mustiness, candy. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Muted taste. Missing is the big maltiness, the dark fruits and the lightly musty aftertaste of classic dubbels.

Draft. Light amber body with a fizzy white head. Aroma of coffee, raw grain, toasted grain. Light floral soapy notes. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste mostly of coffee with a dusty grain finish. Hint of citrus.

Draft. Light golden body with a frothy, white head. Aroma of ginger, clove, spice, citrus. toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Light tartness in the finish. Strong spiced flavor, all of which leave a ginger/lavender soap taste in the mouth. Dry finish.

Keg at the brewpub, 17/02/15. Lightly hazed orange amber with a light beige covering. Nose is bitter citric peel, orange, tangerine, toasted bread, grain. Taste comprises skunky hops, Mosaic evident, tangerine, orange pith, mandarin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok IPA.

Keg at the brewery, Asheville, 17/02/15. Light black with a tan covering. Nose is chocolate, orange peel, light spice, dark malt, charr. Taste comprises boozey notes, Cointreau, chocolate, spice, light roast, toffee. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok impy but doesn’t deliver on the ABV depth wise.

Keg at the brewery, Asheville, 17/02/15. Clear golden with a moderate off white cap. Nose is light citric peel, caramel, spice, straw. Taste comprises melon, lemon rind, straw, bitter orange, light bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate golde but delivers little in comparison to UK goldes at 30% less ABV.

Dark brown appearance. Smells nice, juicy citrus hop presence, oatmeal, rye and honey. high bitterness, dense and oily with some sugary finish.

Draft at Burial Beer. Poured a dark brown, almost black color with a small off white head. Aroma was light roasted malts, bitter dark chocolate with some cherry notes. Flavor was light cherry cordial, dark chocolate. Pretty tasty.

Draft at Burial Beer. Poured a clear orange color with a small, mostly wispy white head. Aroma was sweet peach notes, light grain, wheat. Flavor was light tartness peach juice character. Pretty tasty.

Draft at Burial Beer. Poured a golden color with a small white head. Aroma was fresh green coffee notes, light floral character. Flavor was light floral hop notes, plenty of fresh coffee notes. Very interesting.
