Keg at Contrabande, Brussels. Strong lemon nose. Blonde Ale look. Synthetic taste of lemony wit. Not all that is Belgian is quality :/ herby but too sickly sweet.

Huge, dense & fine yellowish head, rather stable over clear, faintly orangey yellow beer. Toasted malts' nose, herbal hops, nettles, yeast. Bitter hops, with a good malty underbuild as first impression. Again herbs & weeds; some spices, coriander, mushrooms. But then warming up, more and more fake citrus appears, overwhelming the initial, aromatic components. Quite slick, very well-carbonated, medium bodied. Alas.

Bottle, 6%. Fruity aroma, overripe with a metallic note. Cloudy golden colour, sparkling. Good stable white head. The flavour is bready, watery with clean hay and grain notes. Low bitterness.

Bottle, 6.5%. Good caramelly aroma. Cloudy dark copper colour. Big stable frothy white head. The flavour starts off with vanilla, cream, peach. Later comes a citric note. Ok refreshing.

Bottle, 6%. Spicy aroma, unexpected nutmeg and citrus. Hazy light golden colour. Big stable creamy white head. The flavour is soft and nicely malty. Citric finish, almost lemony. Good coriander aftertaste. Clean, refreshing and flavourful.
