Bottle. Aroma is brown malts with resinous hops. Caramel and some fruity notes. Moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is above medium. Love me a well-hopped Imperial Brown.

26/6/2021: Shared with Dan & Grumbo at the Euro 2020(1) watchathon. Aroma of caramel and veg. Sweet taste with slight carbonation. Apart from the veg getting stronger as time went on there is not a lot going on. Not one of my favourites.

Bottle split at Catraio, Porto, 28/10/22. Moderately hazed golden orange with a thin off white cap that soon vanishes. Nose is cucumber, pickle, herb, grass, pale malts. Taste comprises pickled gherkin, straw, herb, hedgerow, balsa wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Some fucked up Kolsch! Okay palate cleanser ... I suppose!

Deep brown with a large tan head. Roasted malts, chocolate, earthy, cocoa powder. Medium bodied. Finish has some bittersweet notes. The bottle I got says Robust Porter, and I would argue against that. This is a really nice porter- so let’s just leave it at that.

Draft at Catraio. Crystal clear pale yellow color fluffy white head. Aroma of white peppery and straw. Taste is peppery lemon. Full mouthfeel. Very tasty
