Description
Baeren Brewery is located in Morioka, Iwate prefecture which belongs in far north up from Tokyo Japan. We have some traditional and old vintage brewing equipment from southern district of Germany and carried here into Morioka. The traditional way of beer brewing still lives on here and Mr. Miyaki who got certificated as a Brewmeister in Berlin, Germany makes great and beautiful beers. The location of our brewery is perfect also for hiking because it is located near the center of the city and stands just by Route 4 but at the same time surrounded by a forest, which means you can easily and naturally feel the nature around.

14/6/2025. Can from Yutaka Shop Online. Pours very slightly hazy dark golden orange with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, sweet, grainy, cereals, bready. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Nice bittersweet finish. Enjoyed this.

Deep golden color. Massive grassy nose, apples and Muscat notes. Firm snapping bitterness. Fairly estery. The bitterness sticking to the tounge. Very clean. Solid beer

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Red session), pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has some skunk, grassiness, and straw. Flavour is rather industrial, with cabbage, herbaceous notes, and straw. Too cabbage-y. Not great.

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Red session), pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma has dry bready malt and dry toasted caramel. Flavour is dry, with bready malt, toasted caramel, and some gritty nuttiness. Gritty and dry. Pleasant.
