On tap at the Kyoto Beer Fest 2014. Brewmaster was bafflingly popular at the event. A nice honey gold pour with a beige head that lingers and appetizing cabos fruit spritzy aroma. Medium bodied the taste is a bit cloying or medicinal fruitiness. Think some kind of citrusy sweet soda. Not really beer like & kind of cloying...

Draught at the Great Japan Beer Festival, Osaka, 2011. Looks ok, fine, but smells like chocolate with funk-ass. Chocolate and bad. Off, sour, no diacetyl which is about all I can say for it. , but funk and wrong completely There is a cocoa flavor, which lingers in the back of your mouth, and that in itself is ok, but the rest is terrible. Probably should not have been rated--but the brewer himself poured it for me! Definitely should never have been made.

Draught at the Great Japan Beer Festival, Osaka, 2011. A pinkish, cloudy yellow color. Strawberry aroma. Funky, slightly pukey flavor. Sweet, lots of strawberry. Not that good.

A dark clear brown ale with a thcik big bubbled moka head. In aroma, a nice vanilla fudge aroma with sweet chocolate. In mouth, a nice maple and nuts taste, with caramel malt. Nice. Mondiale 2009, June 6 2009.

A golden ale with a thin white head. A lightly lemony pale ale, with herbal hops, blandish. In mouth, a rather lemony pale ale with some interesting hops action. Strange and offputting. Mondiale 2009, June 5 2009.

Draught at the brewery. Sweet, bitter, funky, and sour tastes rolled into one. It’s all over the place. Has a decent bitter finish, maybe, but the beer is mis-directed and not very likeable.

Bottle at the brewery. Very sweet honey and citrus balance. Very extreme flavors of the additives cover up what seems to be very mediocre beer. Bitter-sour finish is pretty nice. Sweet, fruity, rather pleasant drink, but not very beer-like.

Bottle from the brewery. Lightish black color, dull-looking with a foamy head and lots of carbonation. Fruity, dark malt aroma, with coffee and funky yeast. Fruity flavor with cheap malt extract, funk-ass yeast, and a bit of coffee. Very bad. Less than 25% malt—what is the rest? Thin, sugary, ass. Bad all around.

Cloudy orange color. Tart. Very, very citrusy, but the honey strangely balances things out. Sweet honey in orange sode. Too sweet, but interesting and at least now I feel healthier.

Med brown color, dark fruit, molassess, dark chocolate and burnt sugar in nose. Not bad. Mouth is smooth, slightly sour, dark fruit and molassess. A bit too light, lingering molassess and soy flavors. Need a bit more umpphh to it, but still not bad.
