Bottle from the brewery. Fruity, cherry and caramel aroma with grassy hops. Deep amber to red color with a thick head. Fruity caramel flavor, meaty malts that are in charge but it is well balanced. Mineral finish. Good stuff, just enough earthy hops to balance. I guess this was the best of their three beers.

Bottle from the brewery. Deep golden color with light carbonation and a tall, fine, head. Bready, grainy aroma with nice grassy, herbal hops. Fruity, citrus flavors accompany the bready pilsner malts. Rich cereals balanced well with noble hops, plus something vaguely minty as it warmed. Nothing surprising, just clean and tasty. Light, clean body. Enjoyable, if in fact not really reaching for more.

Draught at the Craft Beer Festival in Ichinoseki, Iwate. Very bubbly, medium to dark brown color; thin head. Fruity caramel aroma with raisins. Roasty malt flavor, dry, with dried fruit and some chocolate. Ok roasty amber, very dry. Not great, but decent, though I expected more.
