Pours black with a very small tan head. The rich aroma is of roasted malt, chocolate, and bourbon. The flavor is dark roasted, sweet malt, moderately strong bourbon character, chocolate malt, and vanilla. The vanilla is not super strong but it's in there. Full bodied. Very tasty. It's not on the level of their old bourbon barrel porter, but it's still excellent.

It's kind of a murky yellow-brown color. The aroma is of tart pineapple and tequila. The flavor has pretty assertive tequila too along with the pineapple. It's pleasantly tart and quite different.

Hazy gold pour. The aroma is yeasty and malty. The flavor is very sweet up front. There's spicy yeast and some fruity character. Medium to full bodied. It's pretty good but nothing special for the style.

Pours black with a small tan head. The coconut is very prominent in the aroma with some roast malt under it. Coconut is also quite assertive in the flavor. There's no question about it being a coconut stout, which I think is a good thing. It's also sweet with chocolate and roast malt. The rum is more subtle. It's in there, but not as strong as I'd expect the liquor flavors to be after a year in the barrel. It doesn't taste at all like the listed 70 ibus, but there's obviously a big grain bill in this beer and I wonder if the 70 is for the un-aged version. Anyway, this is excellent.

tap at the brewpub - Not sure whether to call this a single or double IPA. Bitterness is pretty low but the abv would put it firmly in double territory. I guess Brut IPA would be best if it was available. Anyway, it pours clear gold with a small off-white head and smells of citrus and pine hops. The flavor has a dry bitterness to it with good citrus character.

tap at Mad Anthony's Ft Wayne - I didn't think this would be much different than the regular Wrecked Toboggan, but I had to reconsider when I saw it was 9% abv (vs 6.1). It's similarly near black in color with roasty chocolate malt and a nice creamy mouthfeel. They're not kidding about the maple syrup though. It's very obvious in the aroma and flavor but fortunately isn't overwhelming. The high abv isn't noticeable. There's a lingering roasty finish. It's definitely sweeter than the base beer. Very good. I can't decide which one I like better.

tap at the brewpub - Pours near black and has a pleasant aroma of chocolate, roast malt, and spice. The flavor is on the sweet side up front with the chocolate and malt, but then balanced by dark roast character. Nutmeg is subdued. This is very good, though I'm not tasting any bourbon (description said they used bourbon barrel chips).

tap at the brewpub - Hazy pale yellow pour with minimal head. It has loads of peach aroma with some ginger in the background. The flavor is sweet and peachy with fairly mild but definitely noticeable ginger. Easy drinking and enjoyable.

tap at Shigs In Pit - Lightly hazy gold with a two finger head. The aroma is of spicy yeast and some mild malt. It tastes sweet-ish and yeasty with some yeast spice and a little of what I think of as farmhouse character but not much. It doesn't have that funk. It's alright.

tap at Shigs In Pit - Pours deep amber and has a pleasant caramel malt aroma. The flavor is sweet with caramel, plenty of malt, a little alcohol noticeable, and minimal hops bitterness. It's full bodied and pretty good.
