Poured from 750mL bottle (thanks Derek and Jean Francois; bottled 01-07-22 / bb 01-07-23). Clear blonde gold with white head. Really nice gentle foudre funk, underlying rustic grain, feint houblons, dry mild oak finish, great balance. Excellent.

Pale, just a slight bit of biscuity warmth to that colour, and nothing more than the merest chill haze. Not much head, and it popped pretty flat, but it does have some carbonation. Quite fruity, blueberry, gooseberry, and also floral. A little bit of brett and some oak to add layers to the aroma. Fairly full body, again a touch of brett. It's pretty dry and oaky in the finish, with a touch of floral sweetness. Lean, complex, nuanced, this is great stuff.

Auval x Society Secrete DBA 8% Lovely soft straw gold with a wispy white foam. Big musty honeycomb sweet aroma: lovely light body, honey bright and the gin barrel gives a prickly brightness to it. Really impressive.

Bottle. Pastel yellow with a tall, fine head. Spicy, grainy, lager-esque maltiness, noble hops. Sweet malt flavor, salty, herbal and spicy, citrus, juniper and other botanicals by the seaside. Wow.

750ml (thx, to somebody I don't @ Ryan's shared with Farees. Appearance: hazy rose-ish copper with a white head. Aroma: elegant mix of funk and raspberries. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: simple, but it's very nice, elegant, and sophisticated.

Poured from 750mL bottle (stamped 27/05-22 - 27-11-22; past the best before date). Slightly hazed orangey gold with small white head (yeasty bottom of the bottle). Quite mild raspberry, mild funk, seems that a good portion of the raspberry has disappeared. Nice at a 5.2%.

(500ml bottle from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours near-opaque orange-gold with a decent white head that fades slowly with lace. Aroma is fairly ripe red mango, grapefruit pulp and peel, a little orange pulp too, some grass and dank notes, nice round sweet-ish cereals giving a fairly juicy quality. Flavour is lightly sweet, citrus-forward with white grapefruit, tangerine and orange pulp, mixed citrus zest, touch of lemon even, soft oaty malt base, a little dank quality and fresh grass/flowers, pith. Finish is drying, semi-crisp, oats apparent with a slightly powdery vibe, grippy floral citrus peel and some pith, moderate bitterness. Orange and grapefruit oil aftertaste. Light to medium body, soft creamy carb. As expected with Auval, a mini-throwback in style to a pithier, more resinous NEIPA style. Might like a little more body.

500mL bottle, pours a fairly clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out rustic saison yeast, some farmhouse yeast, and light black peppery notes. Flavour is bright on the spicy rustic saison yeast, gentle tartness, and crunchy wheat. Not as complex in the yeast department as many other Auvals, but carefully made, finishing bright and spicy. Decent.

A hazed golden ale with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light acidity and Epsom salts, light funk, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light lemony notes, tropical fruits, light Epsom salts, very nice. Bottle.
