Bottle. Pours near black with a brown head that starts at the edges dissipates completely. Aroma is a combination of roasted malts, dark grains and a bit of a dry coffee note. Flavor begins with roasted malts and finishes with a dry coffee note but is a bit thin. Not bad, just middle of the road.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep amber with an off-white head that dissipated quickly to the edges. Aroma is full of bread with a bit of caramel and hints of dark fruits. Flavor begins full of bread as well with a bit of a sweetness (biscuit) and a balancing dark fruit note in the finish. Nice and smooth on the tongue.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a white head that laces and dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a light pine hop with some sweet fruit and a very sweet biscuit note. Flavor was similar with a backing pine hop but a very sweet biscuit note that slightly overwhelmed the beer.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours amber with a transient foamy off-white head. Light slightly roast caramel aroma. Near med body. Flavor is mostly light roast caramel, but it is astringent. Not all that bitter though. Just a light touch of fruity hop. Course astringent and bitter confuse me a little. Definitely dry finish. Other than the mouth shrinking there’s not a lot to write home about. Drinks well tho.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours very dark brown with a creamy/foamy beige/tan head. Aromas of chocotate and burnt malt. Med body. Flavor is quite bitter. That might be burnt malt, hop or coffee. Whichever it’s dry and bitter in the finish.Chocolate notes persist throughout.

Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, smoke, a bit of a tart note. The taste is roasted malts, a milky note, tart fruity finish. Medium bodied. Decent. Maybe a bit past its prime.

This IPA poured a cloudy dark orange colour with the biggest , off white head I think I’ve ever had the pleasure of rating. To the nose there are scents of grassy hops, citurs, sweet malt and bread. First taste was smooth with flavours of citrus and spruce. Slightly bitter with a little sweetness lingering. Hoppy finish with a bitter sweet flavour.
