Bottle from Chitose airport. Opaque black with a tall fine tan head. Roasted malt aroma with chocolate, coffee, slightly nutty. Nice nose. Well roasted malt. Bitter and dry, pretty creamy, with a touch of sweetness and sour as well. Lots of coffee, some chocolate. Good body, thick and rich but not really heavy. Very well balanced and good. Dry, bitter finish of burnt malt (hops too?). Lasts forever. Nothing really surprising here, but a very good dry stout. Great finish.

Bottle from Chitose airport. Deep golden color, frothy tall white head, clear. Malty, cereal-rich aroma, with some fruitiness and hops. Straightforward malt taste, pretty good hops. A touch of fruit. Quite a bit grainy. A touch of butter creaminess. Hops dominate. Bitter, long-lasting hop finish. It is a reasonably good beer, not fantastic, but a great dose of hops.
