Tap. Orange-amber with a low head. Nose of citrus, stone fruits, caramel malt. Honey and caramel malt flavor, resins, citrus, bitter finish. Solid APA.

Tap. Hazy deep gold. Rich malt nose, slightly toasty, grainy, with leafy, herbal hops. Great body, rich and smooth with low carbonation. rich and malty, rice comes through too, nice hops. Bitterness is maybe a bit too strong, but well done.

Hino Brewing Blumen Ale California Common 5.5% Opaque orange gold with a wisp of white foam. Herbal me medium bodied with a smooth honeyed malt flavor. Again a bit rough but fairly flavorfull. Adding this I noticed that it’s apparently a fresh hop beer which is cool. 3.5

Hino Brewing Yale Yale Ale APA 5.6% 43 IBU Amber color with minimal foam and a fruity with floral perfume hoppiness. The taste is a bit rough and earthy but overall good. 3.3-3.4

Draft at a small fest in Otsu, Shiga. Pale Gold with a tart fruity aroma, I felt ume and citrus. Quite a nice Berlinerweisse that was smooth and tart. One of the nicest in my tasting flight.

Hino Brewing Dotayare IPA 6% 40 IBU Opaque orange color with a sweet hoppy bouquet. Well balanced, a bit of biscuity caramel with stone fruit flavors. Solid.

Bottled. Fruity, candy-like, tutti-frutti nose, watermelon, citrus, peaches. Somewhat reminiscent of a brut ipa. Bright, fruity flaovr, a bit candy or bubble-gum like. Finish is too bitter and a bit astringent. Interesting though.

Nice stuff. Light hoppy bitterness, roasty malt, chocolate and coffee. Enjoyable!
