Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. I really wish Matchless was closer to home. Like 50 miles closer at least. This place has been my go to for keeping up with these guys, which is fitting, since it's the same place that introduced me to them long ago. So many good beers later! Hazy darker orange pour. Oily foam head. Tons of hops. A tropical fruit throughout. Banana. Juicy, creamy body with a touch of grainy grit. Less my profile of IPA I guess, but well done for sure. That basically means with Matchless, that instead of amazing, I think it's just super good.

16 oz can poured. Love these cans. Winning at the can game for sure. Juicy golden pour with plenty of foam head. Tons of hop character here. Liquid hops. Grassy, with a later splash of fruit. Reasonable bitterness. The descriptors call this balanced, but I think it's absolutely on the hop side of things, which isn't a bad thing. Barely sweet, has a rich creaminess. A tasty IPA, but unfair that I got to enjoy it side by side with their masterpiece Culture Cuvee. Good stuff.

16 oz can poured. No can date, but it could be hidden under the lopsided label that could have been put on by hand. Awesome! Pours a thick, juicy pineapple orange color. Tons of foam head that settles. Fresh peaches, tropical fruit on the aroma. It's like they knew exactly what beer to brew for my exact liking. Thick, creamy, juicy flavor full of fresh peach, oranges, oats, melons, cream. Lingering flavor reminds me of a peach yogurt, but in total hazy IPA form. So delicious, and quite unique as well. These guys just keep killing it with these IPAs. I should have bought a whole flat of this stuff.

Black with off white head. Hoppy and roast aroma. Flavour seems hop, chocolate and roast. Balanced finish. At times seemed more likd a CDA than a schwarzbier.

Draft pour in a flight of triples at Coopers Ale house, for their version of the 2018 Hop Mob event. A hazy golden orange pour with a glow, but not as bright as the Reubens. That one wins the glow award this time. Tons of foam head and lacing. In a blind, I don't think I would have immediately picked out blueberry. Pretty dank on the aroma. Too dank. Flavor is viciously sweet up front, and a harsh dank hop and vegetable flavor to follow. Maybe the blueberry creates, or adds to, the over the top sweetness. For the first time since I was first introduced to Matchless, I dislike a beer. I'm as surprised as I could ever be. Very rare miss from some of the best right here.

Draft pour, half pint at Malt and Vine. Sneaky beer rates! When you are in the area, and have 6 minutes to run to a spot and taste an important brewery, you do it! Hazy, but light golden orange pour. Nailed the melon notes. Honeydew? Cantelope? Unique flavor profile. Solid, low bitter, easy drinking session. Another solid offering from these guys.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. The place where I discovered these guys, and the place where I continue to enjoy their beers over and over. A bright golden orange pour. Has a glow to it. Cool pine, grassy hop aroma. Flavor is a close match. Moderately bitter, and a long lingering pine hop finish. Refreshing IPA. Very full in flavor. Great Simcoe showcase. Plus whatever else is there. I could do a few pints of this.

Can from The Brewmaster's Taproom. Unclear golden pour, thin white head. Soft tropical hop aroma. Mango, apricot, a little pineapple. Drinks smooth and soft, thins out a bit on the kind of abrupt close. Fairly sweet, not a ton of bitterness. Slightly sticky. Tasty, but not quite all the way there.

Can from Brewmaster's Taproom. Rating #6868! Hazy golden-orange with a wispy head. Orange juice, some stone and tropical fruit, little bit of grass, and some pine. Fairly sweet, soft, clean, and easy drinking. All fluff seems about right.

Draught. Pours gold with thin white head. Grassy aroma. Medium bodied with a crisp balanced malt and hop body. Lingering finish.
