Tap at Kyoto Brewing 10th anniversary. Black with a nice head. Bready, malt nose, no chocolate or caramel. Clean, crisp flavor, rich in grainy malts but not sweet, hoppy, bitter finish. Great.

On tap at Titans (Tokyo), pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out grassy hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp and bright, with grassy hops, some spicy notes and a seltzery palate. Nicely made, just a bit too seltzery. Good.

Tap at the brew pub. Clear, pale golden color. Nose is ginger, lemon, pale pilsner malts. Nice use of ginger, not too sweet, not overly done, nicely spicy. Lager character evident. Crisp malt. Very dry, with a clean finish. Original and good.

Tap at the brew pub. Bright, clear, golden orange. Citrus and light tropical fruit nose with a touch of sake influence. Great fruity flavor, hops come out much more in the mouth than in the nose. Punches above its weight.

Tap at the brew pub. Lovely cloudy, bright pale gold. Touch of Asian pear in the nose, cloves, wheat, lemon, touch of banana. Crisp, light, good body and flavor for 3.6 abv. A good summer quencher of a weizen.

Tap at the brew pub. Clear, brilliant gold. Touch of grape in the nose, fruity, slightly resiny, clean malt. Nice pilsner malt character despite the low abv, a tasty summer lager that I could drink a lot of without getting bored.
