Tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy gold. Big fruity nose of grapes, tropical fruits, lots of passion fruit. Tangy and tropical flavor, nice tartness. Not over the top sour but not sweet either. Very drinkable.

Tap at the brewpub. Pitch black. Dark chocolate, a bit of soy sauce, some fruits in the nose. flavor is chocolate, roasted malts, some fruit. Taste is quite nice, but the finish comes up just a bit too burnt and bitter with black malt flavors.

Tap at the brewpub. Hazy pale yellow. Good nose of mango, passion fruit, orange, grapefruit. Creamy and tart, full of tropical fruit flavor, not heavy or floury. Well done.

Tap at Beer Bravo Fest. Nose is big time lavender and chamomile withe honey malts. Very herbal flavor but light and crisp and not overly sweet, and the flavor of the malt and citrus hops is there. I probably won't order this again, but it was far better than I expected.

CBB Bitter Golden Ale 5% Apparently, this is the first batch. Nice golden body with decent foam and an earthy woodsy herbal aroma. Medium bodied, the taste is quite earthy pine with an undertone of dank, musty, sweaty gym socks. Overall ok but not I’m not too sure what they wanted to do.

Picked up a bottle of this 10% brew to celebrate their 10th Anniversary! CBB Pyotr 1 Imperial Stout Deep coal black with tan foam and a chocolatey aroma with savory and slightly smokey notes. My first sip I felt was a touch too acrid (heavy on the dark crystal malts). After warming a bit more, I got cocoa paste and roast smokey notes but sweetly balanced.

Boxing Day is still ok for drinking Christmas beers, right? CBB winter Anise White 2021 Belgian Strong Wheat Ale 8% Lovely mellow gold, fizzy white foam that didn’t linger or leave any lacing. Sweet Belgian aroma with soft spices. Very approachable. Full bodied and dry with a really well balanced spice level of anise, coriander, orange and ginger. Kind of like a big Belgian witbier with a Christmas twist. For me the carbonic bite is a bit too strong but this is a fine example of a Belgian Christmas brew, made in Osaka! Served with leftover stollen for that extra touch of Christmas cheer.

Tap at Bud. Nose is coriander, oranges, honey, gains. Bright gold color, clear. Criusp malt flavor, light honey, coriander. Crisp and bright.
