Very good, Duncan seems to be able to evoke the flavour of things without making a sickly sweet beer. A great winter sipper.

440ml can from Benny’s Place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is herbal, dragonfruit. The flavour is moderate sour, with a surprisingly smooth, light, floral, aromatic, spicy dragonfruit palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation.

(Can) Pours hazy golden with huge white head. Pleasant aroma of citrus and peppery spice. Medium bodied, very well carbonated. Good taste. Grapefruit and peppery spice from start to finish, with grapefruit tailing off a little as the pepper builds more bitterness. Some biscuit malt in the background in the mid plate. Very good.

(Can) Pours cloudy peach amber with tiny white head. Subtle fruity aroma with pepper and disinfectant hints. Medium body with very good carbonation. Taste is odd, but then again I don’t know what calamansi and dragonfruit taste like. It’s tangy and citrusy. There’s an assertive peppery taste that has a disinfectant note to it - not unpleasant, but somewhat disconcerting. Watermelon. No sweetness or bitterness. Unusual, indeed maybe odd, but quite drinkable and refreshing, and interesting.

(Can) Pours clear pale golden yellow with big loose white head. Aroma of yuzu with a herbal hint. Light body with a lot of soft loose carbonation. Taste of lemon and yuzu at the start. Very light bread malt in the middle. Grassy herbal hops with a rather harsh bitter in the finish. It’s ok.

(Can) Pours slightly hazy yellow gold with big white head. Subtle aroma of citrus with notes of pine. Medium body with plenty of fine carbonation giving a great mouthfeel. Very good taste too with great balance. There’s a note of peppery spice throughout the palate. Nice citrus with hints of tropical fruit in the start. A pleasant biscuit and bread malt in the mid palate. And some very nice bitterness to finish it off. Very good. (Note that the can also refers to this as Kemicle as well as Kemical)

Pours a deep brown with a strong spiced carrot cake and beer nose, which is strange! Beer is mildly sweet, smooth and does taste a lot like carrot cake although maybe not the icing part. Interesting for sure & clever. Not really a repeat buy as I'm not big on carrot cake, but if you are, here is your beer.

From a 375ml can on 20/12/2025. Pours a clear golden with a massive head that disappeared reasonably quickly.The nose is downright odd. A touch of citrus, fridge and vomit. The taste is more conventional. The yuzu is light but noticeable in an easy drinking package. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Refreshing enough and there's a bit to pique the interest to get more than a pass mark.
