Amber, bright, with a fairly big head. Sweet, with light phenols, touch of vinous accents, but it's sweet sticky malt and out of control esters in terms of dominant characteristics.

Consumed while watching eagles, ospreys and freighters on the Fraser River. Dark amber colour. Lots of big hop on the nose, though it's tough to latch onto any individual attributes. Similar on the palate, with a fair bit of chewy maltiness and indistinct hops. I'm not sure this one is hitting for me - it's good but that's about it.

Black, loose brown head.Nice chocolate/hazelnut nose. Light chocolate, big sweet hazelnut palate.

Poured aggressively it gives good foam on a clear light gold body. The aroma is very nice saison grain, smooth and sweet with just a bit of hay. Flavour is yeast and hay, farmhouse funk. Chewy mouthfeel akin to a bière de garde. Very nice, good balance, a reliable choice for a new world saison.

Pours a very black brown with very modest dark beige head. The aroma is good sweet barley and oatmeal, baker's chocolate, sugary hazelnut. Flavour is smooth hazelnut, chunky unsweetened chocolate, soft coffee notes. Good dry finish and crisp carbonation but I'd prefer a little more sweetness. Otherwise a very nice sweet porter.

Mellow grape must on the nose, nice foam on a lighter clear copper body. Flavour is messy hay, hop sweetness, light grain. Still full and refreshing though, and quite nice.

Good solid foam on a semi cloudy brown body, nice hop and malt aroma. Flavour is nicely balanced hop and malt, mouthfeel is crisp and oily. Nothing unique here but it's a very well made pale ale.

Kind of an ugly colour, loose head, smells tart but wonky tart. Tastes tart with a lot of floral hops. Not the best balance.
Pretty nice for an American beer

473ml can. (5.3% ABV) Pours a hazy pale straw colour with a large, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Aroma of lime, juniper, soap and faint wheat malt hiding in the background. Sweet flavour of wheat malt, lime, juniper, soap and light gin in a dry finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and crushable, but more of a cocktail than a beer. Not for me.
