PBF XV. Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is funk, mild elderflowers, some yeast and mild earthy tones. Flavour is funk, elderflowers, some mild toasted and biscuity sweetness with a bit of sugar too. Strange.

Canned at PBF. Hazy golden, mid sized head. Aroma of mirabelles and grass. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Spicy grass and mirabelles. Long bitter finish.

Hazy yellow colour, medium-sized white head and lace. Bretta aroma, light fruityness. Light-bodied. Pale malts, some citrus fruit, bretta in the flavour. Quite a mess. PBF XV.

Malty, British style. Light hops. Subdued again.

Light again. All their beers seem to be quite easy going without the shocking elements of the style. It if that apple thing. Bit malty. Alright.

High in the creamy sweetness, banana. Touch thin.

Bottle kindly shared by KyotoLefty. It poured a somewhat muddy looking orange-brown with a chalky aroma that featured some flowery pot-pourri notes. The taste is similar to the nose with an occasionally somewhat honey-like malt sweetness. Alright but not very lager like and too flowery for my tastes.

Bottle from Furusato Nozei. Yu-agari Bijin label. Slightly strange nose, stinky durian / very ripe tropical fruit, bit of toffee, ripe stone fruit, metal. Golden orange with a low, lacy head. Sweet, creamy flavor, toffee, creamy, tropical and stone fruit. Very light bitterness, slightly peppery. Touch of diacetyl maybe. Not a lot going on. Nose is a bit out there. Not bad.
