Draft - Pale malts and light candy citrus. Clear light gold with a decent white head. Pale malts, light sweetness and a light bitter dry finish. I am from Burnaby and am not this boring.... Draft at brewery - Much more yeasty esters with lots of fruity banana notes on the nose. Still pretty boring though.

On tap at Prohibition, pours a clear pale yellow with a tiny head. Nose is weak and artificial, with apples and fake sweetness. Flavour is every bit as artificial, if not more, with sickly sweet apples and maybe a hint of cinnamon. About as uncomplex as you can get. Not terrible, but very uninspiring.

Draft - Bubblegum, banana, pineapple and fruity esters. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Fruity Belgian yeast and sweet finish. Light hop notes are there, but without the label I wouldn't have guessed.

2023-10-27, bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver, 8-4-8-4-16=40
It's blond, with light haze, large head, compact. The aroma is spicy, peppery; sweet malt, soft yellow fruits. It has good body strength, balanced residual sweetness, soft mouthfeel; there's a good malt base (bread, crackers, gallettes), balanced hop, with a mix of peppery and grassy character.
Elegant, and well crafted, as usual.

2015-10-09, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 5-3-5-2-11=26
Cloudy blond color. Instead of the nice Belgian character that I got previously from Dageraad, here I get mainly plastic and soapy feeling from yeast, typical in American attempts at Belgian styles, and the hopping is not what was expected.

2014-10-25, draught at St. Augustine's, Vancouver, 7-4-8-5-17=41
Cloudy blond color with creamy head. Beautiful Belgian Ale, with mild spicy aroma, delicate fruity esters, light green hops; strong Belgian yeast character, with a nice body strength, moderate residual sweetness, elegant fruity touch and strong bitterness. Balanced, harmonious, brewed with art.
Excellent.

Bubbly head, hazy, blonde. Aroma is a bit of pedio, yeast. I like the palate better, it’s yeasty but with a light citrusy hop note, some light spice late as well.

650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a light head. Estery aromas of dried fruit and bananas, light citrus, and Belgian yeast. Flavors of lemony marmalade, spice, toasted malts, and moderate yeast. Definitely more fruity than the original blonde.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh citrus hops and lovely fruitiness. Flavour is very fruity, with loads of citrusy hops, Belgian yeast, and dry crisp biscuity malt. Fresh and fruity, with a stronger fruitiness than the regular Blonde Ale. Great stuff.
