Bottle - Pear, light citrus and yeast fruitiness. Clear gold with a frothy bubbly white head. Sweet yeast, boozy and some spice. Lots of yeast.

650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with full head. Aromas of Belgian (French?) yeast, pears, white pepper, and light toasted malts. Flavors are similar with emphasis on yeast and sharp fruits backed up by a dry bitter spiciness. Nice rendition.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, farmhouse notes, and light floral notes - quite authentic. Flavour is certainly true to style, with farmhouse notes, Belgian yeast, floral hops, and light citrus. Very dry, farmhouse-y, and flavourful overall. Great stuff.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy dark blond color with compact head. The aroma is not only lightly spicy, it has also some vegetables (celery). Highly carbonated, the mouthfeel is quite smooth; it has a light residual sweetness, mellow pale malt flavor, coriander, and some vegetables. Fruity esters in the final. Correct bitterness.
North American version of the Saison style. Lack of elegance. But not a bad beer.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color. The aroma has some straws and some plastic. Highly carbonated, a bit spicy, with some plastic flavor, maybe glue; off-dry.
Not exciting, After the first beers, more was expected.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy light golden yellow with minimal white head. Very dry wheat with subtle coriander and funk. Lacks much of any sourness.

650 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy gold with light head. Aromas of dried coriander, bitter orange, wheat, and toasted malt with a little funky barnyard. Punchy and tart flavors of the same with some additional grape and apple notes. Very nice.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy deep blonde color ale with a medium size foamy head with medium retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light spices with some residual sugar and some Belgian malt notes is interesting. Taste is a bit heavy on residual sugars with some spices that are noticeable and a solid light Belgian malt backbone. Body is full with limited filtration and medium carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Overall, this was good but a bit too heavy on residual sugars while lacking some complexity.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy light golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is robust, with notes of orange peel upfront, followed by coriander, and some funky tartness. Flavour is very complex for a wit, with funky tart fruitiness upfront, followed by orange peel and coriander. Really quite remarkable balance here. The finish is bitter orange peel and funk. Excellent beer.

Poured from the tap. Orangey yellow with white head. Belgian yeast with a little citrus and spice on the aroma. Same taste with some bready notes and a dryish finish.
