On tap at Dageraad, pours a mostly clear amber red with a small white head. Aroma reveals bright raspberries, light tartness, and a nice wild yeast expression. Flavour combines the bright, lightly tart raspberries very harmoniously with the wild yeast; theres a light spiciness, and slightly above average carbonation. This one works really well. Excellent.

On tap at Dageraad, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma has lots of the sweet white wine barrels, mixed bugs, and estery Belgian yeast. Flavour is somewhat estery, bringing out the Belgian yeast upfront, with gentle brett, and then tons of the Sauternes. Quite vinous and sweet, finishing estery and tangy. Good stuff but a bit too estery.

On tap at Dageraad, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out bitter orange peel, some mezcal, and a hint of cacao. Flavour is strange, with plenty of mezcal, some bitter citrus, some mixed bugs, and gentle tartness. Bizarre - not what I was expecting given the ingredients and concept. Puzzling flavour profile that doesn't seem to be the sum of its parts. It's alright but doesn't seem to accomplish what it set out to do.

100mL pour at brewery. Pours murky dirty blonde with white head. Aroma has lots of whiskey barrels, light coriander. Flavour has very strong whiskey, coriander, golden raisins. Whiskey is way too strong, but the base beer is solid.

Draught at Steamworks Mt. Pleasant
Pale yellow, cloudy. The aroma is fruity, a bit dank. The mouthfeel is weak, the character from the biotransformation seems strong, the yeast introduces fruity elements; it's mineral, salty. Ok beer.

Florals and citrus. Hazy golden pour with decent head and lacing. Some coriander. Nice Belgian, with pretty nice balance. I'm liking dageraad. I feel like they are tinkering and improving all the time, getting more of that subtle balance that makes the great trappists great. Light sweet finish. Can.

355 ml can. Pours a hay color. Aromas of orange juice, citrusy farmhouse (polite for horse piss), and soap. Flavors of lemon, lime, grass and sharp toasted malts. Nose is bad. Taste is OK.

Poured from 355mL can. Clear-ish blonde gold with small white head. Hay and feint grass hops with a funky tartness. Above average.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite fruity, with a sort of perfumey, floral hop character, lighter stone fruits, and melon — seems quite yeast-driven. Flavour is much the same, with floral hops, melon, stone fruit, alcohol, and perfumey yeast. I've never been a fan of this series, but this one is above average for the series. I want this to be more hop-driven than yeast-driven. Alright.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 24/10/22). Hazy dull yellow with small white head. Subdued tropical hops, has a dry grapefruit pithiness on the finish. Everything is a bit dull, what I have come to expect of the New Slang series.
