Poured from 650mL bottle. Hazy pale yellow with white head, decent amount of carbonation. Aroma of strong passionfruit and mild hops. Light wit flavour, very subtle citrus hops and sour nature. Quite light.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma is heavy on the Belgian yeast, with a little banana, floral esters and a touch of spice. Flavour is yeasty and floral, with lots of Belgian yeast, floral notes and some residual candied sugar. Pretty well-balanced though a tad sweet I'd say. Despite this, it's clean and drinkable. Not very complex or elegant but it's decent.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy pale blond color. The aroma is lightly spicy, and with some celery. The mouthfeel is smooth, but the malt flavor is simple, a bit bready, maybe wheat; moderately spicy, but also with vegetable bitterness, and with metallic feeling; there is a hint of orange peel. Nor it’s tart as announced.
Clumsy and dirty, chewy, chalky. Not very pleasant.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Murky blond color with compact head. The aroma is very fruity, citrusy, yet delicate, lightly tropical. Dry smooth and sour mouthfeel at the same time; the malt profile is very light, maybe a touch of wheat, also moderately yeasty; but this beer plays everything on the hops, and in a very good way, well integrated. Expect low bitterness, and instead a citrusy and light sour final.
Next year could work differently on the malt background, but it’s an excellent beer also this year.

650mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque dirty yellow with a tiny white head. Nose brings out light passionfruit, citrus hops, and light wheat. Flavour is quite fruity, citrusy and dry hoppy, with passionfruit, citra hop skunkiness, and light wheaty tartness. Nice depth to this. The citra hopping is a great touch. Very good stuff.

Draft - Tart passion fruit and citrus notes, very nice. Cloudy yellow with a decent white head. Light passion fruit, little soap and mellow tartness. Nice and light, maybe a bit too light.

Amber, but quite cloudy/muddy, surprisingly not much head. The aroma is lightly citrusy, hint of yeastiness. On the palate, a bit of dubbel phenols, light saltiness, touch of plum, and some sweet, slightly chewy maltiness. Ok, maybe not to the usual Dageraad standards.

650 ml bottle. Pours a light mahogany color with light head. Aromas of Belgian yeast, brown sugar, copper, and raisins. Flavors carry same with the tamarind coming though with a bit of spice and dried fruit (I think). A little light on flavor but still very much on style for a Dubbel.

Poured from the tap. Hazy dark orange with off white head. Belgian yeast, stone fruit and subtle caramel, hints of tamarind (more on the aroma).
