Pinkish amber with slight haze. Fruity, mild tartness, ok fruit.

Amber, maybe a bit of chill haze, nice thick head. Smells like the stuff Sleep writes song about. One whiff of this and I threw Giza Butler on the speakers.

Pine, limonene, linalool, in that order.

On the palate, there's a lot of pale malt but it's balanced with a rich bitterness. Not quite IBU wars level but impactful. I dig that, especially as it dovetails with the alcohol and probably some crystal 20 in the finish.

It's interesting...there's a distinct grapefruit character but without hop bitterness it's definitely the terpine. The base IIPA is rich and hoppy, but it's closer to the woody, orangey expression, with the terpenes floating overtop. Comes together pretty well, actually.

568mL can, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma is full of intense pot, grapefruit, piney hops, and orange peel. Flavour is less terpene-focused than the nose suggested: full of pine needles, bitter grapefruit peel, intense pot-like dankness, and low-level sweetness. A bit harsh but this actually comes together. Liking the intensity here.

Hazy and pale. The base saison has decent malt but a yeasty, fungal sort of fermentation note. There’s a light juniper accent, and medium bitterness. A bit of citrus in the finish. Just something about the fermentation that’s not working for me.

473mL can, pours a hazy pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma has nice gentle juniper notes upfront, with a solid rustic saison character, and a touch of white pepper. Flavour likewise has a nice rustic saison character, with gentle spicy juniper, and a touch of pepper. Dry, rustic, and with not too much juniper. Surprisingly well-done.

473mL can. Pours a hazy dull gold with a white head. Gin botanicals and peppery saison yeast on the nose. Flavour has plenty of dry, herbal juniper, a peppery saison yeast expresssion, some citrus, and a nice dry grassy hopping. Nice, the combination of juniper, Saaz, and the yeast work well here.

473 ml can. Pours a dull gold with full head. Aromas of wax crayons, lemon, fruity gin, a bit of Belgian yeast, and sharp wheaty malts. Flavors are heavy on gin and acrid wheaty malts, with noticeable salt and some bitter citrus/lime.

Pinkish and hazy. Light prickly pear, moderate acidity, decent, seems like more hop than usual for this style.

Poured from 568mL can. Clear yellow gold with small white head. Terp aroma lingers out of the can on opening. Subdued resin and grapefruit hops, light biscuit malt, touch of booze. Pretty clean despite the oats used. The terps seem gimmicky and don’t add anything to the base. Just an okay DIPA with some fake terp aroma added.
