Bright copper-amber, thick head. Has a somewhat chewy aroma. Medium sweet and light bitterness. Malts area touch gloppy in the finish - chewy but without a ton of richness or depth. So the rye is decent, the lager not their best.

Poured from the tap. Dark brown with small beige head. Dry roast malt, cocoa powder. I find the style as a whole a bit meh, but it’s decently done.

650 ml bottle. Pours a rich mahogany colour with light head. Aromas of earthy Christmas cake, dark fruit, a little rubber, and bready malts. Flavors of sweet dark fruit, mineral water, doughy malts and a little citrus.

473mL can, pours a hazy bright golden orange with a small white head. Nose brings out a lot of the prickly pear upfront, with a touch of guava, and subdued citrus hopping. Flavour is largely a function of the tropical fruit -- the guava and prickly pear in particular -- followed by a hint of slightly tart passionfruit and subdued citrus hopping. None of the usual chalky nonsense or hopburn, thankfully. This comes across more like a slightly hopped tropical fruit beer than an IPA. Whatever it is, it's fine, but not interesting.

Dark gold colour, bright, thick head. Sweet pale malt base, clean, and the roussanne over top of that -well integrated. haven'�t seen many lager-based piquettes this good.

Amber with a slight haze and thick head. Orangey, lightly piney aroma, with a kiss of sweet malt. Sweet pale malt, moderate bitterness, I'�m liking the balance on this.
