650 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber/gold with very light head. Aromas of dried bananas and fruit candies. Flavors of same with additional burnt fruity esters, baked apples and pears. This sample does not appear as bad/infected as those described by other raters. True it’s not really in style - maybe more like a heavy Golden Strong.

On tap at Red Truck, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out Belgian yeast, candied sugar, and floral notes - smells like a sweet North American tripel. Flavour is much worse, with cloyingly sweet candied sugar, bubblegum, followed by Belgian yeast and floral notes. The bubblegum sweetness is just awful and indicative of an amateur, inauthentic North American tripel. Someone needs to teach the brewer how to do this style properly. Undrinkable.
