On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out cereal malts and straw. Flavour is clean and dry, bringing out cereal malts, straw and wheat. Very dry and clean. A refreshing, drinkable lager.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 10 oz
Amber color, clean, with compact head. The aroma is not too strong but carries nice fruits: stone fruits, light strawberry. The mouthfeel is mellow, it’s on the sweeter side, but the flavor is malty, clean and not chewy, after which a balanced and very fruity hopping appears. Correct bitterness.
Mellow IPA, very nice and clean.

Golden, toasty nose but also fruity (tropical) but the malts are just a touch too chewy to really let the hops shine. Smelled good at the pour but all the really good stuff blew off.

Hazy golden color with small compact head. The aroma is fresh and very fruity, still delicate; quite tropical and sweet, mango pineapple and papaya. The mouthfeel is not extremely dry, and with the high carbonation manages to be quite smooth; the malt has light caramel and dust accent; good bitterness level although the hop shows less fruity quality than in the aroma, some hop oils are present. The final is definitively bitter, but it could be richer.
Nice.

Draught, Biercraft.

Reddish-brown, hint of liquorice, toffee, and sweet, touch of molasses, soft body, subtle bitterness, has a really nice character with full body and subtle dark malts.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a dark mahogany with an amber tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out bready malt and light caramel. Flavour is quite sweet for a porter, with toffee, caramel malt, bready notes, and a touch of cocoa. Surprisingly high quality for Red Truck, and certainly an off-kilter porter. Great one.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Dark brown color with mahogany edges; beige creamy head, persistent. Mild aroma, roasted malt, coffee, and a minty impression; later, it has a light cheesy touch. Smooth and dry mouthfeel; the flavor is very coffeeish in the front, too burnt, although later it has some dark chocolate and infinitesimal sugars, but it’s too little and too late to overturn the impression.
How they got Porter here is a mystery. Too much burnt character. Not a bad beer overall, but it will be appreciated only by roasted-heads.

Dark brown. Soft but roasty nose. Taste is creamy...milk chocolate but comes up empty on bitterness and the sweet doesn’t really pop either. Ok stout but nothing beyond that.
