Draught at Craft Beer Market, Vancouver
Hazy light amber color with compact head. The aroma has a nice fruity hop character, tropical. The mouthfeel is off-dry, a bit weak; the underlying malt flavor is not very exciting, it’s a bit earthy; correct bitterness, with a mild citrus hint. The final is a bit papery, not a happy palate.
You can feel the industrial hand here, but it’s not a bad beer.

Cask at Craft Beer market, Vancouver, August 2014
Black color with small but persistent head. Delicate aroma of roasted malts. Weak body, dry, low carbonation; it has some roasted malt and dark chocolate flavor, but also a mild sourness that doesn’t integrate well. Light final.
Simple beer.

Cloudy - well a bit muddy - with a minimal head. Has a malty, fruity, lightly coriander nose; sweet malty palate, and a fruity finish with light yeastiness. Competent but a bit timid.

Straw. Grassy aroma with a strong pale malt signature. Clean pale malt body with a touch of grassy hop - nothing that screams noble - and very minimal bitterness.

Hazy tan, herbal character like a but of rosemary, fruity apricot but maybe a bit overripe, OK sweetish hoppy golden.

Belgian? NONONOHas a faint brown sugar nose. The palate is basically water with brown sugar added. Thankfully I didn’t pay for this. Why bother..... but I should know by now not to waste my time on this brewery’s products

On tap. Pours a dark amber with light head. Not much of a nose - a whiff of malts. Flavors of malts and light caramel. OK session beer but not much more.

Pretty bad. Pours slightly cloudy blond with ok head and lacing. Some sourness at the end and funk. I guess there’s a note of hay flavoured malt. A bad example of style. On tap at Garrick’s Head pub.
