Poured from 500mL bottle @ Weathered 2023. Hazed copper with small white head. Cherry, mild oak, decent balance.

The red-orange colour has a touch of haze. Tart, but with lots of malt, vinegar. Just super intense, more than I care for, being sensitive like that.

Can from Everything Wine, Vancouver
Murky blond colour, some orange, with large and compact head, persistent. Aroma of orange peel, light flowers. Soft and creamy body, can feel all those oats in suspension, not the cleaniest one; the hop is strong, mostly bitter orange peel.; some pith in the finish.
A bit too dirty, but bold.

Bottle sample at Farmhouse Fest 2022, pours a cloudy dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out mixed bugs, earthiness, and some herbal notes. Flavour is all jumbled, with herbal notes, vinegar and earthiness. Not complex and lacking integration. Meh.

Bottle sample at Farmhouse Fest 2022, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full burnt rubber… Jesus, this smells horrific. Flavour is offensive as hell, with disgustingly burnt rubber, and nothing else. Just awful β€” these guys haven't a clue what they're doing. Shit.

473mL can, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle tartness, whispy wheat, and a hint of bugginess. Flavour is moderately tart, with tart citrus, whispy wheat, straw and some grainy bugginess. A proper Berliner, with not too much yogurty character, and finishing dry, grainy and wheaty. Well-made. Haven't had anything decent from Persephone in a while, and this changed that.

473 ml can. Pours a clear hay color with full head. Aromas of mineral water with a bit of sulphur (like some well water) plus candied citrus and grain. Definite rice in the flavor, with grain and bitter citrus.

Clear pale gold with a decent head. Touch of skunky grains. Light grains and a touch of the skunk.

I mean, their regular IPA has always been a West Coast IPA, but a trend is a trend, right? Hazy amber, with a fairly thick head. Lots of piney, orangey hops and a slightly chewy malt base. Much less chewy than their regular IPA. On the palate, it's fairly bright, just a juicy chewy bit of malt. Hops are solid. This lighter take on the style is better than the flagship IPA, more modern and refined.
