At the source: pours amber with super foamy head. Aroma is caramel malt with a fair bit of hoppiness. Taste is lightly bitter. Malty. Sessionable and easy to drink. Good.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy blond color. The aroma is mildly fruity. The flavor is chalky, too much yeast left here, leading to final astringency and vegetable notes, hiding the mild fruity and resiny quality of the hops.
Not really a NE IPA as announced, just one more dirty IPA.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy blond color. Crisp body, elegant esters in aroma and flavor, probably from using a Lager yeast, delicate bready malt base, and the hopping is moderately resiny.
I consider this a very good brewing exercise.

Cloudy. Big frothy head. Big melony, floral hop nose. Bitter. More grapefruit hop. Quite bitter - on that mark they sort of misunderstand the style but it’s a good brew so I’m not complaining.

On tap at 33 Acres, pours a cloudy opaque orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney and resinous hops, some dirty earthy notes and biscuity caramel malt. Flavour is very much the same, with lots of chewy resinous hops, a little pine, earthy notes and a thick caramel malt undertone. Doesn't strike me as a northeast IPA, which is maybe why I like this more. Very nicely structured and balanced. Good stuff.

On tap at 33 Acres, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out sweet orange rinds, resinous hops and caramel malts. Flavour is lightly dank, with resinous and piney hops, some herbal notes, and sweet caramel biscuity malt. Over-malted yet not too sweet. A bit rough, but it's decent.

On tap at 33 Acres, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart citrus and moderate lacto - pretty restrained though. Flavour is like unfermented wort, with a little citrus and some tart lacto notes. But this really tastes like that unfermented wort smell you get when walking into a brewery. Undeveloped and immature. Not good.

On tap at 33 Acres, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out cereal malts, citrus hops and crisp biscuity notes. Flavour is bright and hoppy, with a nice citrus hop character from Nelson I guess (?), with a dry cereal malt base. Really nicely made.
