Tap at the Ogaki Beer Festival. Pissy citrus fruit nose. Hard mineral notes, with a strange, bitter and acerbic finish. Yuck.

Tap at the Ogaki Beer Festival. Hazy golden orange. Creamy, fruity, honey malts. Simple, somewhat sweet, tastes like a cream ale. Best beer I have had from them I think, and the only drinkable one of the 3.

Tap at Awashima. Aroma of liquorice, fruit, bit of tropical fruit. Taste has liquorice too and some Belgian elements. Bit funky. Interesting. No hint of wheat. Cherry. Feels much more boozy than it is. Confusing but nice.

Tap at Awashima. Candy type flavour. Pleasant ginger spice but theres some beer behind it. Belgian pale ale in the vein of a Palm. Bit of caramel, light hoppiness. It's quite nice to drink but one's probably enough.

Tap at Gifu Beer Matsuri 2017. 5%. Clear, brown-orange color with a thick head. Minerally nose, caramel, homebrew-like. Light, thin, mineral flavor, fizzy. Very amateurish. 5/4/5/3/11

Tap at Yokohama Fes. Caramel and ester nose. Deep orange color. Funky, oily, harsh extract and esters, peach and orange. Really yucky. Lots of issues here.

On draft at Hops and Herbs. light brown color. Smells like molasses and brown sugar, or cane sugar. Sweet malty mouth with some cane sugar. Very simple with not much depth. Sweet malty finish. Hmmmm, doesn’t do much for me.

郡上八幡麦酒こぼこぼ：こぼこぼエール ビター On tap at the GJBF in Osaka 2014. Beer from a new brewery out in Gifu. 3% opaque honey brown, big yeasty aroma, light malty caramel. Light harsh mouthfeel. Rough sour fruity malty caramel flavor. A bit ashy. Not terrible as a first beer of the day but it needs work.

Tap at GJBF Osaka 2014. Dirty looking, and somewhat unclean raw extract nose. Estery, caramel, rough malts. Low alcohol with light body and a very amateurish flavor. Needs a lot of work.
