Oriental Brewing Yuwaku Yuzu Ale Fruit Wheat 5% Cloudy gold with a thick creamy eggshell white head of foam and a yeasty yuzu aroma. Thick bodied with a white pepper and spicy wheat/cloves flavor and a yuzu citrus kick. A bit too yeasty but alright. Ap 4 Ar 7-8 t 7-8 p 4 o 12-3

Single hop Citra 5% 24 IBU Opaque brass with a thick white head and a great Citra hop bouquet. The body is a touch light but the flavor is Citra fruitiness plus some crackery malt in the finish. Ap 4 Ar 8 t 7 o 12-3

Tap @ BeerFes Yokohama, September 17th, 2017. Yellow whitish hazy beer. Nose has some wheat, yeast spices and light orange peel. Tastes clean, nice citrusy feel to it, very drinkable and well balanced. Coriander spices, herbal thing in there as well, good and lightly tart finish. Tart coating in mouth lingers for a while.

Tap @ BeerFes Yokohama, September 17th, 2017. Pours dark brown with some beige foam on top. Nose has deep caramel, roasted malts but yes, also something extra. Mugicha? Taste reveals nice roasted body where malt roast blends with similar flavour coming from the tea. Light roastiness persists until the end and lingers for a while longer. Light body overall, very dry and quite easily drinkable. Well executed, not messy or anything.

Tap @ BeerFes Yokohama, September 17th, 2017. As Yuwaku Yuzu. Hazy whitish yellow pour. Some white foam on top, decent amount if it. Nose has lots if yuzu and other citrus fruits. Sweetish citric and fresh. Taste is also displaying the fruit well, clean and fresh, balanced with the overall body. Finish has some grapefruit seed bitterness in the linger. Surprisingly good although maybe relatively simple.

hazy golden white color - oddly all the beers here look very similar. Big hoppy citra nose with sweet maltiness in the background. Like too many session IPAs it is a bit harsh and has almost a burnt character. The problem with this beer is I feel the hops are a bit old. I know the beer only came out a couple days earlier, and the nose has nice fruitiness but this really lacks bitterness to balance things out. Unfortunately just average, but lots of potential.

Hazy golden white color. Creamy white head. Sweet Yuzu slightly estry nose. Easy drinking but a bit simple and also a bit too much like the hefe. Yuzu is a bit too subdued in the mouth.

Hazy white amber color. Creamy white head. The nose is a bit strange, not in a bad way, but bananas and oranges. Very carbonated, but really lacked the distinctive banana estry character you would expect for the style. That said, I found this very enjoyable and great at the end of a hot day.

Tap at the brewery. Nose of graham crackers, yuzu, brown sugar. Interesting. Hzy deep golden orange with a low, thick head. Semi-sweet flavor, crackers, brown sugar, yuzu, sweet orange, a bit of candy. A bit sweeter than I like and lacking in complexity, but tasty and decent.

Tap at the brewpub. Glowing pastel gold with a low, thick head. Nose of citrus, oranges, biscuits, light esters. Nice tart citrus flavor, balanced. Light esters, clove and a touch of banana, light and crisp.
