Oaky + straight forward roasted malt and chocolate notes. Not sure I can tell the Brandy.

Kind of crazy but good how much this beer tastes a lot like orange juice beer but in a good way! Aromas are citrus a little bit of wet grain caramel malt and a hint of resin. Aromas are Like Nose but in a kind of wacky way the citrus stands out more but like OJ and it's pretty good matches up with this beer very well not so hoppy but still pretty good. Great body and finish very good drinking.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. A hazy golden orange pour with a loose soap bubble head. Dry flavor, almost wood like character. Floral like hops. Long and late lingering flavor here. Bitter hops that stand out well above the malt bill. Very flavorful and unique IPA.

Dem funky Vic secret hops, smells normal, tastes like a hop malt baby.

Big old 16 ounce can from Uptown. Pours a cloudy orange color with a small white head. A big tropical pulp nose. Smooth, grainy husky base, some lemons, oranges, something very sweet, almost a sweet tart like mango tropical finish. Solid. A bit much in terms of the sweetness in the finish.

Can - Little too green and citrus. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Green pine and citrus with a touch of mint in the finish.

Can. Cloudy pale. Thin head. This has a lot of pear fruitiness on the nose...I'm actually not nuts about the aroma. On the palate, it's more straight up IPA, but with the piney, needly notes in the finish. It ends up being quite bitter, actually.

Tasting at Oakes' Manor, can
Cloudy blond colour. The aroma is a bit minty, soapy, piney; weird. Dry mouthfeel, lean body, light malt base, too much vegetable note, strong bitterness.
Not interesting.

Can - Sticky citrus and some tropical notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Sticky, fruity sweetness and a long citrus finish. I have the feeling I didn't get this as fresh as I should have.
